Agency sues rival for ‘poaching’ rising model Meghan Roche
A modeling agency has filed a $500,000 Manhattan lawsuit against a rival company, saying it poached up-and-coming model Meghan Roche in violation of her contract.
The 18-year-old model — who has been featured in a Givenchy ad campaign and walked the runway for labels including Fendi and Alexander Wang — began working with Men Women NY Management Inc. in 2016 and had a contract with them through 2021, court papers say.
Women Management’s lawyer, James Quinn, told The Post, “This is beyond the pale. In this industry people may move but only after their contracts have expired. This is pretty brazen.”
