Corporate Compliance Summit:
FCPA 2014: Trends, Tips and Technology for More Defensible Compliance
Houston, Texas, November 5, 2013

At the FCPA 2014 Corporate Compliance Summit, guest speaker Joel Androphy, a civil and criminal law expert, presented “Inside the Defense of the O’Shea Prosecution: What Recent Cases Reveal About the Future of FCPA Enforcement.” His presentation explored the differences between civil and criminal trials. Mr. Androphy discussed his experience as one of the few attorneys to successfully defend an individual charged with an FCPA violation.

The FCPA 2014 Corporate Compliance Summit was a joint effort between Oversight Systems, a leading financial data analysis software company, and The Network, Inc., a leading provider of integrated governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions. The half-day CLE-accredited event was complimentary and attendees learned how to leverage an ethical culture, bolstered by emerging technologies such as transaction monitoring and analysis, to improve defensibility against Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations.
