Rebecca Gibson

Background

Rebecca Gibson earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, where she was an Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review.  As a third-year law student, Rebecca worked for Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid as part of the UT Law Housing Clinic, providing legal services for low-income families and residents of public and federally-subsidized housing. After graduation, Rebecca practiced federal workers’ compensation law.

Rebecca is proficient in Japanese and spent a semester abroad at Doshisha University in Kyoto as a college student.  She is the author of Cast Your Fate to the Wind (Turbines): Strengthening Japanese Wind Energy Law and Policy, which was published in the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas and Energy Law.
